Washington Ave. Open Now & More Hours at Other Branches!
Great news for patrons: Washington Ave. Branch is now open and five branches are adding hours starting today, June 1! With these changes, APL is operating at 93% of its pre-pandemic capacity.
“The COVID-19 numbers, vaccination rates, and operational capacity are finally at a place where we are almost back to ‘normal’. We’re thrilled to provide our community with a more traditional library experience,” said APL Executive Director Scott C. Jarzombek.
Washington Ave. is open for all in-person services, including browsing, checking out materials, librarian assistance, computer use, faxing/copying/printing/scanning documents, and others. At all locations, study rooms and meeting rooms are currently closed. Visitors are required to wear masks in the branches.

The North Albany Branch remains closed for renovation. It is expected to open in early 2022.
