APL Named a Top Workplace
We are thrilled to have been named a 2016 Top Workplace by the Times Union!
“The Top Workplace honor is really a testament to our staff, 67 percent of whom live in the city of Albany,” said APL Executive Director Scott Jarzombek. “The library is a center of our community staffed by your friends and neighbors in Albany, and we’re really proud of that.”
The Top Workplace lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC. The survey measured staff attitudes about the health of the organization. APL was ranked in the top 20 of mid-sized employers. This is the first time APL has participated in the program
Stephanie Simon
Stephanie Simon is manager of APL's Communication and Creative Services Department, which provides content and information for the library's website, social media, publications, videos, podcasts, and other outlets. Stephanie also manages APL's public relations and marketing efforts.
