2010 Summer Reading Program

Calling all readers! Albany Public Library’s Summer Reading Program has something for everyone—book talks, arts and crafts, special pro-grams, and prizes. You can register at any APL location, or online.

Readers of all ages can have fun at the library this summer:

      • Babies and toddlers have the Bookworms program where parents and caregivers are encouraged to read to their little ones for at least 15 minutes each day

        • Elementary-age children can earn prizes for reading, make arts and crafts, attend special performances, and Make a Splash at the Library

          • Tweens and teens can also track their summer reading progress, earn prizes, connect with friends, and find ways to Make Waves at the Library

            • Adults can get in on the action too, with our Read It & Rate It! program where you read any book, fill out a rating entry online, and get in a drawing for weekly prizes

Visit your neighborhood Albany Public Library to register for the Summer Reading Program and to get a schedule of events or check back here on the website for details. Be sure to check the Summer Reading Program Guide for a list of planned events at each location.
